I am goign to put a few Konami Games in a 6 in 1 board and i was wondering how do i go about rigging the audio for The Simpsons and Turtles in Time(once i get a working board). Both boards have a seperate audio out. What is the name of the 4 pin connector? I think i just have to hack the original audio wiring harness to get the seperate audio board games to play right.

I have The Simpsons and TMNT 1 in my 6:1 and didn't have to do anything other than plug them in. I didn't even have to put diodes in line with my 3rd and 4th player kick harnesses. If it makes any different, it's running in my NBA Jam TE cab.

so the 3 and 4 player harness plugs into to each board? wouldn;t that mean you would have to have to seperate harnesses for each board of a 4 player game?

Your 1st and 2nd player controls will just run through the normal Jamma harness. Yes, you will need 3rd and 4th player harnesses for each game. Jammaboards makes most harnesses for most games. I had to make my own 3rd player one for Moonwalker. Never did one before, but it didn't take much to figure it out.

I am planning on doing this same set up ( I though I was being original, HAHA)

I was figuring that the Jamma harness took care of the sound (if no sound board like TMNT, Simpsons, Xmen, ETC) and then just making kick harnesses for the 3rd and 4th player.

I'm also making a "Coin" button on the control panel so that its easy to continue.

jamma would take care of the boards that have audio out. the simpsons and i believe turtles in time have a seperated audio out jack. from what i gather the 4 player konami games will need the have the audio out on the dedicated audio board sliced into the original wiring. the original tmnt has audio out so no worries there. now is seems i will have to either buy or make seperate player 3 and 4 harness for each board and tie it into the original cab wiring.

keep in mind thou you will need a start button for soem of the midway 4 player games if your starting with a konami cab.

Good call, and I have that one covered. I made my own control panel, and each player has a joystick, and 3 action buttons. Then above that there is going to be a COIN button, and a Player select button.

I just need to paint my damn cab so I can bring it inside the house to work on it, TEXAS IS TOO DAMN HOT!!!

i recently used appliance paint as a base with a foam roller. after doing that and then some dk blue my cabinet looks amazing.
