So I bought a Jamma to MVS converter because I wanted to play games like SFII and Killer Instinct on my Neo cab.
I connected my board (Killer Instinct) to the converter which then connects to my MVS harness. I saw picture but got small beeps in audio. I did some research and read that It needed -5volts. I then soldered a wire to the little -5volts hole thats in the converter (image shown), which connects to my power supply. Turned it on and BAM! it worked sound and all.
My question is, if its ok to leave that -5volts connected while I play my MVS board or Naomi? Will it damage those boards? Or do I have to disconnect it from the power supply.
I am in the process of making another control panel but with a six button layout, will post pictures as I progress.
