I have a 510ueb22-tc02(y) tube with what appears to be a WGk4915 chassis.

Is this a medium resolution tube? I did some searching and couldn't determine for sure, but it looks like its a standard resolution tube. Are these even compatible with each other?

pics of the chassis that was on it.

I'll take some pics tonight and post them here.

I think it's either a 4900 (standard) or 4915 (med res). It has that little 1x1 board on the left side but from what I read that does not necessarily mean it's a med res. To confuse things further, someone long ago wrote in black marker on it: "K4900 Medium Resolution"

from what i see you have a 4915 chassis.

take a pic of the front of the tube, i would like to see the burn in to ID what it has been in.

Thanks. The tube appears to have APB burn. Gimmie a few minutes to take a pic.

Pics of tube......apb burn?

Does any tube work with this chassis?

other tubes will work, but i don't recommend swapping if your current tube looks good.

this is because you have to swap the yoke as well.
the 49xx series used specific tubes, as others will work, sometimes they will not converge at all.

the 4915 also uses a dedicated yoke.

if your not good at convergence and purity settings then keep what you have.

the amount of burn in that tube is better than most.

i would take it in a heart beat if i needed a 19" med rez monitor.

Pulled it out today to take a closer look..

Chassis looks okay but some parts have rust.

On the neck c407,c408,c409 have rust. r416 has rust.

Main chassis was recapped at some point. There's rust on a few parts.

Can every part for this be sourced? I've capped many monitors in a shotgun approach but this is going to probably need more than just that.

Found a sticker on it that says "capped 5-14"...so maybe i should fire it up in my paperboy and see if it works...

yes i think you shouldn't have a problem sourcing those parts and i may have them all in stock.

yes, you can source all the parts.

i may also have all in stock.

i would try it first, i have seen rust like that on lots of chassis and it has never caused issues.
