$50 working Commando on ebay in Maumee,OH

That was right in my back yard. coincidentally, I turned down a $125 space invaders the other day. . . .

I picked up a gauntlet legends instead.

Nice score though!

Congrats man! I am happy for you! Funny,I got bashed for being a super cheap bastard only offering $129.99 on ebay for a DK Jr that needed monitor and cosmetic work, and you got a perfectly good game for about the same price.I really should move to Ohio.It seems like an arcade game hotbed.I need to find an OH connection.

there is nothing wrong with being a cheap bastard, none of my games were over 250$

That's what I like to hear! And I don't care if a game goes for or should go for "so and so" price,if you don't take some risks and try to get them cheaper you never will. And the cheaper you get them, the more you can attain without bankrupting yourself.

Amen.I turned down a completely working All American Football machine last week of $30. I decided to pay no more than $20, and I stuck with my word when the guy who was selling it did not accept my offer.

*Sorry about deviating a bit off topic*

You should've gotten that one! Hell,I'd have pitched in $10 to help make it yours.

Update on this one boys. I wasn't so lucky. Seems that when the seller helped me load this into the van when i picked it up, the back door came unlodged and i heard a slight cracking. Not really wanting to further any more damage i just said well hopefully it's ok.

I get it home, take it out and had forgotten to inspect it. Cleaned the machine up and put it in garage for further cleaning. Decided to fire it up and when i plugged it in i heard some loud buzzing. Seems during loading of the game we destroyed the neck of the tube. Luckily for me a great KLOV'r hooked me up with a replacement tube!

Overall this game was well worth the money. I think im just going to clean it and replace t-molding and call it a day. Very clean inside and only a few knicks on the outside but i can live with that.
