I am installing a CGA to VGA converter board into my Jamma multicabinet. I have the power wired for the board but need a 5-Pin RGB Video Connector to complete my connections since the one on my harness is 7 pin and won't fit the connector on the board (The cabinet was a Commando cabinet at one point in its life). Does anyone know where I can find the connector since my local Radio Shack never has the parts I need. Thank you in advance for any guidance.

Assuming that I am understanding your issue correctly, I would just cut the end of the connector to make it five pins. Then splice the wires as you need to in order to line them up. I know this sounds like a bull in a china shop kind of approach but it will work unless the connector shape is totally different. I take a medium pair of diagonal cutters and carefully hack off the pins that I don't need.

The page you linked to says the required connector is included;

"If you do not have the simple RGB connector shown above, the GBS-8220 converter PCB includes a RGB cable which can be used to adapter your CGA or EGA video source to the GBS-8220 input."

Simply cut off the connector off the jamma harness and wire it into the supplied connector.

I was thinking of posting the opposite question for a week.

I bought some of the cheap Jamma harnesses and they all have this connector, which doesn't fit any of my monitors. Does anyone know where (cheapest shipped price for only a few) to buy the older standard connectors?
This is what the Jamma harnesses come with...

Think I remember Ken saying the new monitor chassis came with this new connector and to make adapters (as well as change the power connector) but don't have time to search right now. If no one knows I'll look for that later..
