5 Megatouch projects $50 in MI

Interesting. Maybe a dumb question, but is there a difference between a monitor used in a touch screen game vs a non-touch screen game?

Depending on the touch screen used, generally, no. The touch screen is usually a separate pice that sits over top of the monitor. In some cases, it is integrated with the monitor, but that is usually only on the high end machines because you have to replace both if either one goes out.

If you wanted to use the monitor for a testbed monitor, you could just unhook the the touchscreen inputs.

Cool thanks for the info. I don't plan to bid on these myself, but it's good to know for the future. :)

Those are FUN games... and you can easily slap in a different motherboard and power supply to convert them into something such as a touchscreen jukebox. Just use an external amp & speakers.

the guys at epic electronics in grand rapids got these, i was there picking up a board i won on ebay and he showed me the cabs they had in...
they were stacked up by the door in the back room...along with every item ive seen on craigslist...
michigan people are getting quite irritated with him i hear...
i wasnt until i recently saw items ive been going for as well...according to another klover he has been buying everything before any of us have a chance to collect these for us to have!
i mean we can all buy stuff...but he wants to triple his money nice dudes but way way overpriced...buying machines working for 200...asking 750
i dont know about all that...

If anyone else wants some project megatouches, I've got a bunch I'll sell for $10 each (if you take the whole lot). Somewhere around 5-10 of them. I've plugged them in and they don't work - either board, power supply, or monitor problem with each. I'm sure some good ones could be made if someone swapped parts around. Not worth my time, though.

PM me if interested.
