Well it was a bad day in the shop yesterday. I messed around with a K4900 newer and older version in a current 60-1 build and no matter what I do there's a rollover of lines on the left side. so I said F-it i've had this problem in the past with the 4900's. Does anyone here now what i'm talking about.

Then I go to switch in a K7000 that works great get it all in and went to staple some cardboard up to block the marquee light and the stapler slide out of my hand and smacked the 7000 tube right in the neck. SSSSSSSSSHHHSSHSHSHSHHHSSSSSSssssssssss.......... Dead and broke. Little pissed at this point. so swapped in a nother 7000 and we're good.

then I had some issues witha 60-1 and a right side screen curve that took a few hours to crack out. Uuughhhhh bad night. But got them all going.

Those lines can usually be adjusted out with the v-lin pot, although some versions of the 4900 don't have them. You can make them go away by decreasing the vertical width slightly, too. And since they are almost only visible during the menu and not the gameplay, I don't worry about them too much...

Nope tried all those things I played with it for about an hour and then tried a different R313 and then the fuse blew on it so I gave up for the time being. When It's a game for sale I can't really have those lines there. I'll keep playing with then but for now I'm done with 4900's in multi's too many issues. sticking to G07's, 7000 and newer.

no problems

No curl at all. I think you need to talk with one of the monitor repair guys and have them help you with this. I play my 48 in 1 all the time and I haven't seen an issue like that or heard about it before now.

good luck!

I had no issues with mine either.. I have since pulled the board and put the original game back in, but mine was plug and play..

further research

I have also read that a bad PS or isolation transformer can cause this issue. Got an extra test PS setup you could try with it?

K4900's came with several version's of the chassis, and at least 4 different yoke numbers. One chassis version (-023) for sure needs a yoke version or you'll always get foldover even though nothing is wrong. perhaps this is related. perhaps not...
