4900 issue

Did a cap kit on this 4900, had a nice picture and then these white/red vertical lines appeared that are in the pics towards the top of the monitor. Adjusted this thing to hell and cannot adjust it out. Should I be looking at just cold solder joints or elsewhere?

Try the "vert damp" pot (if present).

Please note that some of these multicade boards produce a right side foldover symptom on many arcade monitors except for computer and LCD types.
 
Correct. You probably see little or no lines on the actual game screens (except for maybe full-graphic games like Dig Dug) but see this all the time on the menu.

That's what happens when a made-for-computer-monitor menu is shown on some arcade monitors.

Want it to go away? Use a different game board, or useva different model monitor...
 
I did have a Shinobi hooked up to it first-when it had the good picture. You guys are correct, it was noticed when the multi pcb was hooked up to it and during gameplay it is not there. Does this happen with all crt's with the 60 in 1?
