Hey gang, Ive been out of the loop on arcade resto's for a few years now and the other day I busted open a PP2 cab to see if I can get it working. I put a 4900 in it and I have a sync issue. These are the connections I have and i connected both to the board and i get the same result everytime with either connection (out of sync)....what am I missing here? (NOTE: i hook up the craftymech monitor tester and no sync issues. I get solid perfect image) Are they giving me two different connectors for various chassis??

The red connector looks like the right one but you need to verify the wires are in the correct pin out positions.

Here is a pic of the extra harness connector I have. Just for reference. Seems to track with the schematics.

Neither of yours are correct for a K4900. Kaboom's looks correct.

You might be able to get creative with what you have by pulling pins and relocating or make a new connector. You can always pull pins and test with jumper clips and then make a new connector when you've verified it works.

Thanks everyone for replying...I got it working. I had a non working dig dug that had the neg sync connection. I snipped it off the dig dug and connected it to the the pole position. All works fine now. Best i can make of the two different connections after viewing schematic, the red one is for a Mitsubishi monitor?? and the other is for go7?? In any case, the game plays (clouds kinds break up a little at certain points but it doesnt effect the game play)

First pic is dig dug..second pic is white connection in PP2....3rd pic is the quick hack i did (cut 5th wire and spliced the neg sync connection into it)..I will beautify it another day. I just did a quick hack for now to test it out.
