I've wondered why the K4900 has that cover on the fuse and to replace the fuse you must pull the chassis and solder "legs" to a new fuse.
While sending an order in to Bob Roberts for a few things and fuse holders he told me never to mount a fuse holder on this chassis, to run wires and mount it away from the chassis if you just had to.
He did state that if you do this, look out for brushing up against the new mounting point and avoid a shock.
I'd like the skinny on this because I can only think there are traces close or under the fuse that would prevent this.
I swear I've seen posts by people on here who have done it.
