Just want to make sure I've got this right. My new B+ is no where near the size of the old one.

1st pic shows where the current B+ filter is.
2nd pic shows the new B+ filter in relation to the solder points.
3rd pic is where I think it should go???

Please let me know if I'm about to jank it up :)

Where did you get this replacement cap? If I were you, I'd do option 3, and use a jumper from that leg to the proper solder point...

This is what Bob Roberts sent me. I wasn't trying to portray options, I just wanted to know if that would work. I have no idea where it goes as far as what I'm seeing on the old cap. Just trying to match up neg/pos. I'm showing/drawing where I think it should be soldered it in.

Does what I drew up look right? 3rd pic

BTW, I just laid the new cap on the bottom of the board just to try and show scale to the pins.

I know, and I gave you my answer - yes, 3rd pic, but there is no solder in that one hole, so you'll have to connect it to solder via a jumper...

I figured if I boogered enough solder around that hole it would make contact somehow.

I get what you were saying now.

I love having 2 of these WG's pissing me off at the same time :)

Of course this one was my fault, breaking the neckboard and all. I just finished trying to repair it. I have glow and the sound of high voltage but no pic. Seems to be the story of my life lately. Except, this one has glow and sounds of life. The other is a silent, dead, POS

bend the legs, and it will fit into the proper holes. you will have to open the negative hole, because it is filled with solder in your pic. pic #3 is pretty close, but it will not work on the negative side.
