How would you discribe the differences between 48 in 1 and original games?
Are all the games slightly different, weather it be board patterns or sound?

I remember playing one were the pacman patterns are different then the original I have.
Anyone else have similar experiences?

Seems to me that the gameplay is right on. Main difference is holding a joystick rather than spinner knobs or track balls for some games. The sound ain't great on many of the games.

All of the games are pretty spot on. There are minor sound differences, and on a few games the sound is just plain awful and distorted. I have a 2-part video on the 48-1, just skip over to part 2 if you want more answers on sound issues.

Slower.

At least Galaga is. My girlfriend's 11 year old son noticed it right away.

Tried a 60-in-1 today. Felt latent compared to the real thing, just like running Mame on Windows. (Windows is to blame, not Mame, from what I can tell. . . Mame is pretty snappy on my gp2x wiz.)
