well im goin to be tearin apart my nemesis UR and coverting it to a 48 - 1 i think but im not sure how many buttons id need? the nemesis cp has got a single stick 3 button set up (3 to the left f the stick and 3 to the right)

There is only one game on the 48-in-1 that uses three buttons, and that is Breakout (used to choose between starting screen layouts). Otherwise, about 10-12 games use two buttons, and the rest use one or none.

I usually only put 2 buttons....

IMO, three buttons is enough for that compilation, I have a 60-1 and i believe that there is a only a couple of games that utilize three buttons, the pinball game is one that know of. Plus it is nice to have that third button for the set up.

I would suggest putting a trackball in it if Centipede, etc. is included in the game line up.

Here is how mine is so far.

ok cool thanks

the plan is to use the wiring harness thats in it so id pretty much just need the the konami to jamma adapter right?
also the multis can use the coin mechs for credits too?

on yeah almost forgot, which direction does the monitor need to be flipped to go vert?

48-1's are just like any other JAMMA board so it can run on quarters if you want. Bottom of monitor goes to the left side of the cab, but if you do it wrong the 48-1 has a dip setting to flip the screen.

The 48-in-1 can NOT use a trackball, you need the 60-in-1 for that.
Just a reminder incase you go that route.

nice :)

do they make an adaptor to use the konami harness to hook up a jamma board?

Ahh thanx for the clarification! I was going to get a 48-1 for my next project to save a few $.... But that info has changed my mind.
