I just finished wiring up a 48-1 in a Nintendo Cabinet. Everything works great except there is some weird interference on the monitor due to the speaker hook ups. Basically, there are some weird red bars that show up on the monitor and flash whenever the sound gets louder. This is accompanied by a slight speaker hum.

The setup I am using is a computer powersupply plugged directy into the 48-1 board, a computer monitor plugged directly into the VGA port on the pcb and the speaker wires hooked up to the existing nintendo speaker. I have confirmed the problem is not with the monitor by changing to another known working computer monitor with the same results. I have tried flip-flopping the speaker hookups with no change, but once I disconnect the speaker hookups completely the problem goes away.

Sounds like a grounding issue to me, but I am no longer using the original cabinet wiring/ground, so where would I ground it? I have put together several 48-1's in the past with no problems whatsoever. Any ideas?
