400 Game Lot"Better Pic's"

That's like 560 dollars a game! Do they all work? At that price, they better!

They better? That is funny, so if one is not working the non working police is going to come. They are complete and 105 of them are retail ready and the rest need minor repairs for the most part. I do not think they will go for 250000.00 I am looking in the range of 150000.00. These games deserve to be sold for a good price. This offer also includes shipping and packing so when you break it down it is not a bad deal for someone wanting to get in the biz. And I have said it before a lot of you guys give your games away and these games which are a huge part of our history deserve better. I cannot see devaluing these games down to where you someday will be stuck with a bunch of press board and a collection that is not worth shit.

I so wish that worked. I feel that way about every game I sell.

Unfortunately I don't think any of us have control over that one...

Pink mrs pac? Innnterreessting! Also....how much you want for that Virtual On that was in the pic in the thread of stuff that wasnt up for sale on ebay?

I may be wrong but it is kind of like home sells and foreclosures, when a house is forclosed and sells way under value it devalues all the homes around it. The same is true about these games we all love. When games that are restored and sell for a lot less than they should it makes everyone's games worth that much less. But who knows all this shit may not be worth anything in a few years and just be filling for a land fill near by one day. It is a shame I hope one day my son will put down the PSP controler or what ever they are called and find these games as cool as I do. But if he never does they will how ever pay for his college.

Who knows what that op was thinking on a pink Ms Pac but it had to be out there, maybe it was in one of those special bars. As for the Virtual On I do not know yet on price we have not gone thru it yet.

That's not necessarily true.

I think your analogy is a lot more accurate here though we're not talking about restored games. I don't like to see this stuff drop in value either. I've been collecting for over a decade so I can remember a time when stuff was selling for a lot more. I would like to see you get a good price for your stuff and I agree that overall it would be good for the hobby. That said... I don't see it having any lasting impact on prices as a whole.

The drop in value is due to many factors. Lack of interest, Cheap multi-cades, etc... It's not because people are "giving their games away" for cheap prices. That's my opinion and observation anyway. It's pretty safe to say that if you gave those games away for free it would have no impact on prices as a whole. But again... I would like to see you get a good price for them.
