4 Player or 2 Player - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles???

I have a friend that wants a TMNT game. I have the board for him, and am trying to help him get into the right cab.
So I saw on KLOV that it was done in a 2 player cab. Anyone out there have this?? Was there a SPECIFIC BOARD for 2 player only? Or was it just the way it was wired?

I have only seen them in 4 player.
Can anyone name a good 4 player cab for this??? NFL, Blitz, NBA Jam?? Not sure.

Only one board, but it came with ROMs to swap out for 2-player or 4-player.

Tons of them were dedicated 4 player machines. The right cabinet is the 25" 4 player Konami cabinet, TMNT, Simpsons, etc.

Every TMNT board I have ever run into had the 4 player roms installed.

Ok makes sense. Are there any midway cabs that would work for a 4 player set up? I know MK is only 2 player. Any others?? I think Golden Axe II the revenge of Death Addar is another that might work.

A really great cab for it is, the TMNT cab.

I have a few ideas of what you could hack up...but I'm not going to suggest turning other great classic games into a TMNT. If you can get a hold of a MK2 or a Golden Axe 2, why not sell/trade them for a Konami cab?

All reproduction/NOS TMNT art wouldn't look right on another cab anyways...

If you're looking for a "midway" 4 player that's versatile you might want to consider an NBA jam. Generally though if you have TMNT in mind you would want a Konami cab.

Here's a list of what's compatable with the 3/4 player kick harnesses.

The TMNT 2/4 player "board" is identical except for a rom which tells it's 2 player (lets you pick which turtle you want instead of having 1 dedicated per space) and it expects 2 coin slots not 4.

Personally I have a 2 player board and like it just fine.
