A friend asked me to find a home for these four laserdisc players. I know NOTHING about them. Assume that they don't work, need repair, and may only be good for parts. My friend accumulated these many years ago when he was gathering parts for a Dragons Lair project.

Free for the pickup in Savage, MN (south Twin Cities metro). Must be GONE within the week! If they're still here on Monday the 12th, they're getting dropped off for recycling. I will not ship them, will not break them down for parts, will not attempt to test them.

Two Pioneer LD-V1000 LaserDisc players (no plugs on power cords) with manufacture dates in the fall of 1983
Two Sega players, model VIP9500SG

PM me if you want them!

Those SEGA (Hitachi) players are what shipped with Astron Belt and Galaxy Ranger (not sure about others).

Somebody needs to grab all of these players before they get dumped!

I would pay to ship them but the OP said he would rather trash them in his post .

Have someone who is coming to pick them up tonight. Two more people lined up behind him in case he doesn't take them all.

My friend dumped these in my garage. Don't want to see them trashed (probably lots of good parts in them anyway), but I want them gone ASAP (that's why the threat of recycling). I'm not a laserdisc guy, don't have any discs, don't know anything about the players, and have zero time to mess with them.

They're boat anchors - would cost a small fortune to ship them.

I get your position and am happy to see someone's picking them up !
