And I'll be the guy suckered in to buying them all eventually.

With the $249.99 price tag it's going to take me a while though... I don't even think I'll be able to get one at launch :(

I'll probably preorder one, but may not end up actually getting it at launch - it'll all depend at the time.

I want a ds phone. take the dsi and add 4g and bluetooth.

i want to be able to call somebody and play pokemon or advance wars or whatever against them.

until then I'll stick with my ds phat.

Us Australians have to wait until Feb 8 to learn about exact local launch date and pricing, but it will be released in March some time... Hopefully it will not be more than A$300 by the time it gets here, but that's still more than I'm willing to pay for one.

another thing that pisses me off is that they are reverting back to the small screen. after you play on an XL, there no going back.

hell no. 3d only truly tricks the brain if it encompasses your proliferal vision as well. Which is why I lol when i see Ads for 32" 3D tvs.

Maybe THAT'S why I can't really tell the difference between a 3D movie and a 2D. Well I can at first, but after 5 min they just look the same to me. and I get a headache.

I want to see one in person to see how well this "3D without glasses" really works. The wife wants one, but after buying her 3 other DS's (like other on here) I'm tired of buying the same BS.

so im pumped.. I been reading more about this and heres some stuff I wanted to pass along.

Comes with a charging cradle, not just a wall plug like normal, which is cool cause it can be in sleep mode and still connect with the spot pass.

The spot pass is kinda like the street pass but through wireless internet, wifi and hot spots.

Theres Augmented reality games! which is a cool concept, the system comes with some cards and the ds will scan them and you play a game where the card was (example on the nintendo page is on a kitchen counter, you see the stuff on the counter like the keys and note pad and theres a game being played)

Comes with a 2gbSD card and supports SDHC

Takes 3d pictures with the 2 front cameras

Gyroscope (i didnt know about this)

Wifi is no longer just WEP, supports WPA/WPA2 which is awesome for me cause my ds lite is only WEP and I dont use that at my house

The virtual console/e Shop has gameboy/gameboy color games and such, so the original super marios should be on there (I see the gameboy version of super mario land)

internet browser!

I saw that on the site and you have no idea how happy I became... I'm stoaked for VC downloads on the go.
