there's no way that thing can hold up like a metal one... I had talked with arcadeshop, actual repro midway 4-8 way sticks are supposed to be happening.

yeah I've seen them pop up on ebay and with all due respect i wouldn't be caught dead running one of these.
me either. I just wish someone would reproduce williams 49 way sticks for real lol

It would likely hold up to normal home use just fine. I'd certainly want the proper metal shaft and ball top, but the frame and mechanics would almost certainly hold up. Whether it would feel right is and entirely different discussion. The DIY leaf switches are the most janky part and most likely to cause problems in the short term.

Maybe in an Arcade1Up. Not much else.

I love the way it's just a 1:1 reproduction of the metal parts (Sarcasm)

Usually when you design/re-design something for 3d printing you change the design to strengthen it and retain original function...

Simple things like thickening some sections, adding radii etc...

I have around 25 of the OG if you are looking for them before repro.

Arcadeshop is supposed to be making repro's but if it doesn't happen by later this year, i'll be looking for several.
