I'd be in for some of those but sadly am in TX.....

All it takes is a short flight and truck rental..

Funny you mention that.... Penske 22' is $1600 + ~$600 fuel + flight of course ;)

That is a long drive plus a decent chunk of change for transpo...

Just put a bid in for $2k....oh well outbid. Hey...$64/game works for me. :p
I'm guessing the lot will sell for $6500.

Naturally, there are some pieces that are worth something, and others that are run-of-the-mill snoozers. Seller would be better off selling the nice pieces, recouping some of the initial investment, and blowing away the less desirable ones for cheap. Price em all high...watch em die. That saying means more today than ever before.

lot of games

I helped him get a lot and repair a lot of the machines. Some of the photos on CL he used when I sent him photos so they're in my garage. Some of the games are in very good condition others were bought at the last superauction and do not work. Games I know were not working were joust and sinistar. Most of the others are working 100%. Since I helped him acquire them, spend a lot of time helping him out I thought he may sell a couple to me but said he did not want to waste time parting out the lot.

Looking for 1 or 2 people that would like to form a group bid on this. This would most likely mean a 2-4000 share. But If you are interested, pm me.

The issue always with that is agreeing on the relative value of each machine and who gets what since obviously they are not all equally valued!

I might bid on it if the price looks right. I'd just go for the whole lot and then sell off what people want locally before I haul the rest back.

Yup, and that usually does not end well.

You could flip a coin to see who gets first choice and then alternated choosing until they are all gone.

But in any case, it seems like waaaaaay to much work to me to go for a bulk deal like that unless they are down in the sub $100 price range each.
