Not a bad price. I don't really want a Paperboy, but I went to check it out. It works and doesn't have any apparent damage. Some high score burn on the monitor and the sides have been painted in different colors. I offered him $150 just to see what he'd say, and he unplugged it and basically told me to get out.

He will get $300. I would've done the same.

Why? What's so bad about making an offer? worst he can do is say no... hopefully a counter offer is given... it's called negotiating... seriously... not like you were throwing $150 at him and running off with the machine before he said no...

You really lowballed a $300 Paperboy? You don't deserve it.

Well that was the point, I didn't really want it. $300 is a good price for someone who wants it. I wasn't a jerk about and I told him he'd be able to get his price from someone else.
There were no pics in the ad, and it was literally 3 miles away from me, so I just wanted to go look to make sure it wasn't in awesome shape.

His name was "Brandi" ?????????

Yeah, he was a big dude, too. He threw me in a hole in his basement and made me put lotion on my skin. I had to kill his dog to escape.

Actually it was the guy's daughter that posted the ad. The guy was like 70 years old and he was selling his arcade games so he could buy a pinball machine. The Aliens Vs. Predator looked like a beat-ass Mame cab and the Golden tee was pretty rough too. I didn't even ask about them.

There's nothing wrong with making an offer per se, but when you're asking for a 50% discount on somthing that is already priced very fairly it doesn't sit well with most people. To each their own though...

He will get $300. I would've done the same.

+1 more

Best info about this thread is that I now know that Bungy's Discs of Tron is near me :)

Feel free to come over anytime and play it. I'm right near the Echelon mall, excuse me, Voorhees Town Center. One of these days I'm going to have a KLOV get-together.

I picked it up this afternoon. It was in decent shape except for the painted sides. I have been looking for a Paperboy for a while. I paid the $300 the seller was asking. It was a bitch getting it out of the basement.
