The Story:

I got my first PlayStation 3 as a gift for my birthday, and i am happy with it, so I went to go on kijiji to look for some accessories or games. I find a $30 PlayStation 3 system and said, this can't be legitimate. But i said i'd bite, and he told me his address, So i set off in my car to go see. He surely enough handed me it in a bag with the cords and said it don't work.

Plugged it in at home and it wouldn't take in discs, so i dismantled it and found he just somehow broke the drive but everything else is untouched.

I ordered a new drive for $60 from a friend who had a broken PS3 (bad motherboard) and now just awaiting it in mail.

$90 80 GB PS3,
controller - $15

What do you guys think?

This picture is probably the WORST EVER, but my webcam was $3 so here.

Nice score :)

Kijiji is owned by ebay, btw.

Replacing the disc drive can be annoying and somtimes they just fail right away again. Mine broke and I just sold it on ebay and I almost got 200 dollars Im guessing becuase it was a launch unit but still the lazers are of low qaulity and most replacement parts are just taken from broken units. Nice score however
