Springs

Id bet mikesarcade.com prolly has the springs.. Why would you need other colors of 4" sticks? As 3.5" sticks are used on every other game out there.. Only a couple games need 4".. Like robotron and one or 2 others..

Arcadeparts.com has other colors of 3.5" sticks..

Not true, a few of us went over this in another thread quite awhile ago, comparing Konami games CPs.
Some panels came from the factory with 4" sticks on a flat underside, while some came with 3.5" sticks, where the area for the base was routed out to make up the difference.
You'll find 4's on any Konami game from the TMNT/Simpsons/Sunset Riders/Xmen era, but it's hit and miss as to who has 3.5's and who has 4's in their game.

At $50 a set though...I'd rather route the area of the base out and use 3.5's.

He said it. I'm willing to bet that the majority of Konami panels weren't recessed. Of the 10 or so I've seen, none were. Fairly small sample size I guess, but 10 to 0 makes me think it's true.
