3 op raids this past Saturday

Great find thanks for posting the pictures! I was curious? what's the picture of the little snoopy house with the red trim?

If that's what I think it is it's super rare. It's here on KLOV listed somewhere. It was a video game in a dentist's office for little kids. It didn't sell very well.

So sad a WG6100 Yoke sitting in the rain :(

Huh? 6100 yoke? Well yes, it's on the monitor.
sitting in the rain? What rain? I parted out a bunch of the games in this location and this is what I took.

Still curious about what he wanted for the Addam's family. :)

I asked about the Addam's family and the reply was "absoutely not for sale". He wants it for his family, home basement. He said he's turned down an offer of $3000 for it as is.

Thanks for sharing pics, made me feel like I was there. So what's the story? Did you all clean them out, or just pick? Any more opportunities for others to share in saving these? I see a lot of stuff I would be interested in. Hook a brother up!

JJ

X2 Can any of us get in on this? I see some things i'd like to have picked up. Share the wealth bro!!

What was that Ikari Warriors converted from? Can't quite place the cabinet...

You mean this one?

That side art screamed Mad Planets to me, which is why I took the pic. Or did you mean one of the other Ikari Warriors (there were a few).

Kudos, JoeMagiera...there's definitely some neat games spread across your three-part raid!

I second the fact that its appreciated when threads like this appear, as it gives us all an idea of some of the "hidden treasures" within such warehouses.

I have never seen a dedicated Munch Mobile, and you can blame G4's 2003-2005 Starcade reruns for piquing my interest in that game.

Its wonderful to see so many games in such great shape{externally, at least}:Virtua Fighter, basically all the pinballs, Columns{another one that I've never seen "in the wild", although I do own the Sega Genesis port}, Sea Wolf, GunSmoke, Gauntlet, and the Neo Geo MVS!

That row of Pole Positions{which seem to be in pretty respectable shape}, and DJ Boy also look excellent.

Congrats on whichever games/parts that you ended up buying, this stuff truly puts the "Preservation" in the V.A.P.S.!

Boo-Urns

Negative Nancy here, reporting.

1) Offered $3K for a non-gold Addams with devastating art wear? Laughable at best.

2) It's really cool that they let you grab anything of value out of these and leave them with an even more worthless pile of empty wood  The next guy to stumble into these warehouses will be awestruck at first, and then they'll cry when they realize everything is empty and worthless.

3) Does anyone else find it odd there's not a single Nintendo cabinet among all of these? Hopefully they at least made it out complete.

4) I know a "collector" with about a half-dozen Kiddierama's he's been trying to unload for years (in MN), if anyone wants to pay to ship some of these beasts, hit me up.

On the Addams, I can't verify if that offer was true or not, just saying what the op told me. Basically, he was not selling it.

There were no Nintendo's on the second and third op. There was one (only) on the first, but I must have missed it in the pics. I don't recall what it was (not much for Nintendo's so it didn't interest me to follow up on it). I really don't think it was a DK though as I think would have noticed the red in the marquee and front glass, and that one didn't have any (unless it was covered in dust/dirt).

Nice finds, Joe.

Joe has a killer collection that he's put together with a modest budget and a lot of work. This latest raid is exemplary of his effort.

I was browsing some old 80's arcade photos online and came across this one.....the "Movie Hut" that looks like the thing we kept calling the Snoopy House. :)
