Today I added a Nintendo Red tent, Neo 2 slot, and a messed up Thunder Blade. I took a few shaky pics...
This red tent is really cool! Needs to be cleaned and for some reason the player one buttons on the super Mario side are not working but the controls are. I hope its just a wiring problem and nothing more. Both monitors have minor burn, this is not repairable I take it? They appear to be the Sharp monitors. The audio on the Mario side is cracking and distorted. On my mario widebody a cap kit fixed it. i have to search and see if these have similar issues.
The Neo has KOF 98 and Samurai Showdown. This is really clean and was told it has a newer monitor out of a Golden Tee. It looks really good but I'm not a huge fan of some fighting games. I have a 150 -1 on the way, hopefully it works ok in here. The player one control stick switches are rigged with spacers made out of pennies for some reason and the player two has electrical tape rolled around the end of the stick to make contact with the switches. I will need some new controllers, does anybody have some for sale or trade?
and then there's the Thunder Blade! It powers up but he said the monitor is from another game and has serious burn in. It shows a greenish or white display depending on my tweaking. I have a red light on the PCB and a red light on the power supply, which looks like its aftermarket. The red light on the control stick is lit red as well but I have no sound or reactions to me pressing any buttons or trying to coin it up so I'm not sure what to try next? The flight controls have some corrosion. Does anybody know what is best to clean these up?
well.....I guess that's about it for now! I highly doubt anybody made it this far
