I've picked up some solid games in the past few weeks. The first was a Tutankham that was sold on here in Wisconsin. An amazing friend said he was headed to Chicago on business and could pick it up while he's gone. He also grabbed a Gyruss while he was up there and sold me that as well since he already had one. He took the Centuri coin door off of it for his, which was more than fine with me.
Tutankham is ridiculously hard but a very fun game, and the more I play Gyruss I think I may enjoy it more than Galaga.
The third was a NFL Blitz 99 conversion. I played this a ton back in the day on the Dreamcast and N64, but rarely in the arcade. A few buddies and I went to Arcade Legacy in Cincinnati recently and played it for a while and I realized I needed to have one. Last week one was posted on craigslist for a very reasonable price. When I arrived, I saw the monitor looked bad, and then realized that the contrast pot was doing nothing. Once I replaced that the picture is great. There are some minor things happening with the graphics and I'm not sure if thats a cause of it running in low res, or a bad file on the drive.
