In home use, what do set it on? 3 or 5-ball? Some say 5 ball is boring, but the game is longer + the extra balls you can achieve during play. Your thoughts?

I've got my Count-Down set to 3 ball... figuring it will help draw out the challenge over the long term, and prevent guests from walking away from games in progress.

I knew this would be good discussion and to each there own. I have my High-Speed up on 5 ball and it on medium difficulty. I know what a wuss right, but kids and my wife play so to give them a chance you know! Alright thats it my son has high score on it right now well for the last 8 months..he,he, but that was 5 ball, I should change it up back to 3 ball.

3-ball unless you want a big handicap and want to never be able to compare your scores/achievements with others. 3 ball, normal settings or harder. You can earn extra balls in-game.

Oh yeah, no "Replay conversion to Extra Balls." A local guy had his pins set that way and we ended up with so many extra balls it was ridiculous!!

5 ball till you get good at it, then switch it down to 3 ball.

I like this one. I have my replay set for an extra ball instead of free game (credit) figure it free already and an extra to add to a game. Getting an extra free game is good when you have to pay not when its in your home on free play.
