Just to be clear, does the rainbow cable connect each board within the boardset using the P4 and the P12 connectors?

And, if I have 2 boardsets in my cab, each boardset needs the rainbow cable, but I can move just the edge connector?

What does the rainbow cable do, give power to the board without the edge connector?

Sounds about right to me, all the way down. P4 in and P4 out is the only change to what you have said.
