I have a 27D9200 chassis for sale. For those that don't know, this is a tri-res monitor that can be used with standard, medium, and VGA resolutions. This is the chassis only. No tube or frame included other than the metal base for the main chassis.
The monitor came in dead. I found burnt parts on the main board (which I replaced) and burnt parts and traces on the neckboard (which I replaced and jumpered). I tried powering it up and it seemed to power up (no ticking or squealing), but I wasn't getting a pic. I found another transistor on the neckboard that was shorted, so I pulled it out. That's when I saw that the yoke was burnt and melted. The yoke is bonded, so it's not possible to change it out, so we just ordered a new monitor.
None of the parts I replaced went bad (at least they measure as okay), and that one transistor on the neckboard (Q204) needs replacing (it's currently out), but the chassis may work after that - and it might need further repair. Either way, I don't have a tube anymore to test it, so I'm not planning on doing any further work to it.
$30 shipped if you want it to either fix or part out.
