Hypothetically, what would happen if I put a working 27" K7500 chassis on a 25" K7500 tube? I'm thinking it would work, but the picture might be a little too big?

I have a working 2775 chassis, and a 2575 chassis that has been rebuilt except for the flyback, and it is blowing the HOT upon powerup. The flybacks are the same between then two chassis, and I'd like to not swap the flyback if I don't have to...

I can't answer your question, but I'd guess there would be some issue with there being a different value yoke being plugged into the chassis.. might be easier to swap the flyback and play it safe?

The only difference between the 2775 and the 2575 is the P777 pincushion board so you should have no problems doing this.

For those that only have a 2575 chassis and need it for a 27" tube you can buy the P777 boards from AGE for around $8. That should save you some time searching for the 2775 version.

Well, I didn't get this answer until AFTER I needed to know, so I just swapped the flyback and the 2575 works like a charm....
