I've had this on the shelf for a few years, time to figure out why it's wrong.

The colours are inverted.

It's from a gun game, so the flyback has the capacitor-box-thing on it.

It's been capped. The B+ is spot-on @ 130VDC.

Noting the thread on inverted K7000, I checked those parts (there aren't many) and they're all fine.

The chassis did have correct colours before this - but washed out and faded. It started to do the inverted colour thing one day at random.

I used to be able to adjust it via a combination of brightness and contrast to have correct colour, but I haven't been able to do so since I took it off the shelf.

Thoughts?

i would try swapping out IC1 and see if that fixes it.

maybeit shorted internally.

*grumble* just used the only IC1 that I have, from a donor chassis.

And none of the 20 TV chassis I have here have one. :p

Replaced IC1 with one that I knew had no red, but was otherwise working.

The chassis is now working 100%. Only took five years.

glad to hear that it was IC1.

they don't go bad often, or at least they don't for me.

don't feel bad i chased a sanyo synk problem for 5+ years as well.
