I need to make a adapter for my programmer I know a few have done it in the past. I need to burn a few 2564s. I know its the same as a 2764 with diffrent pin outs. I just need to know what pins to jumper.

Thanks,
Keith

Have you downloaded and installed the latest version of the software for the programmer?

I have that model, and there's a device listed named "2564(TEST)". I'd try that before building an adapter...

Yes I have, its always supported 2564 in test mode. Meaning you can only read them not write because of the non standard pin out.

Connect/adapt the different pins... the data sheets have all the info you need.

FWIW, the original post was about 2564 vs 2764... and the latest picture posted related to 2532 vs 2732.

However, the point remains the same: if one can't make an adapter with both datasheets in hand... I'm not quite sure how to help. Are the specific pins which the OP isn't sure where to connect?

Adapters are pretty straightforward... start by connecting like pins (be careful of numbering, some sheets start at 0, others at 1). Enable pins are either active low or active high; read the datasheet to find out and tie them high or low if there are move enable pins on the IC than the one your "faking" it as. I'd use a pull-up resistor between Vcc and any pins being tied high. Mike sure Vpp is the same. Read up on the programming sequence (timing, etc.) to make sure it's similar.

However, again, I wouldn't bother with an adapter. IMHO, the OP is mis-understanding the meaning of "TEST" in the GQ-4X device list. (Based on the description given in the device info screen when it is selected).
