I have a dynamo cab with a 25" in it and every now and again, it will lose a color...Usually blue...Sometimes if I pull the remote adjustment controls out (and colapse deflection, bad I know) it will kick the bad color back into the pic...

Any ideas whats going on here? Its really annoying...

Next time it goes out, give the front of the the side of the cab a good whack and see if it comes back. If so, it's either a cold solder joint (most likely on the neckboard but possible on the video input connector), or a problem with the tube (in which case you'd need a rejuvenator)...

next timew this happens have somebody watch while you wiggle the video input connector.. if the color comes and goes you have cold solder there(very common)

if no diff there try wiggling the neckboard(be very very careful to only grab by edges otherwise youll get a nice shock lol) and see....

Also you could try the screwdriver handle rapid tapping on the neck of the tube... obiously stary out very light and go to medium taps.. obiously dont nit too hard or youll neck the tube... if it comes back that tells ya you have a tube/gun issue.. the tapping will sometimes knock the krap off the gun and "fix" it too...

give her hell!
