I just picked up a Wells Gardner Model 25K7401 for my 2-slot. I was checking out the chasis when I got it home and noticed that it has a 3-pin AC power molex (black, white and green) instead of the usual 2-pin black and white molex. Can I use this chasis with my 2-slot and if so how do I make the necessary connection? Is the green wire a ground and does not require an isolation unit. Damn, I hope I didn't get a non compatible monitor. :( Thanks for your help guys!

Thanks for the reply! So it's not necessary to then to connect the ground off the 3-pin molex on the chasis and just cennoect the standard ground coming off the poser line to the chasis? How does the monitor ground otherwise? The chasis has the 3 pin female connector so do I buy a 3-pin male to 2-pin molex adapter (if they sell this) or do I wire one up? What size molex pin extractor do I need? I'm new to the monitor since this is the first time I've had to address the issue. THanks for all the help you can give this newbie.

You want this power adapter from Wells-Gardner.

EDIT: This adapter and most other parts for CRT monitors are discontinued at Wells-Gardner.

Includes the correct adapting molex connectors AND the ground cable to boot.

There is a ground that comes off the power wiring to the chasis that was screwed into the chasis frame. I will screw it back into the chasis frame of the new monitor. Will that ground be the right one?

nothing like digging up an old thread

I just bought a 25k7401. the previous owner removed the old 3 pin monitor connector from the arcade game side. i need to convert the connecter back to the 3 pin male connector back to the one in smalltownguy2's picture. I was wondering what the part # is for the molex connector (or if i could buy a few) and the pin size (or just buy a bunch). thanks

Necro-bump. I got a random PM from someone regarding these, requesting one. So I made a couple. I have more available if needed. $25 shipped.
