Hey all, I picked this wee thing up yesterday. Turned out to be not so wee, as that's a 25" WG monitor in there. There's a Jaleco stamp on the monitor surround, so after a bit of Googling I found that the closest thing to it is a Jaleco Lo Pro - but I couldn't find any information about a 25" version, only a 19". The monitor surround graphics are different from the 19" Lo Pros I've seen, too.

It's got an obscure 90's golf game in it right now, but I figured I'd cut a new control panel and maybe make a 3-player cab for games like Battletoads, Bucky O'Hare, Growl, Alien Vs Predator, that kinda thing.

Anyone heard of a 25" Jaleco Lo Pro before?

Saw 2 at an auction like 5 years ago. They were painted red and had Captain America and Turtles in Time in them. Went for super dirt cheap. Still wish I'd have bought em. Definitely unique cabs.

I may be wrong, but believe it's a jaleco candy cab. I saw one similar on an archived craigslist posting from about a year ago, which had a 2p 12 button fighter style cp. Sold for $500 in my zip code...of course just a couple months before I started actively searching for a candy cab to add to my collection.

That one was a 25" too.

Yeah, this one isn't the candy cab. Jaleco did have some for sure.

This is a Lo-pro. They made a few different versions.

Fun cab for sure!

Very cool. I have the 19" version. Didn't know they made a 25" cab. Do you have the same option to pull the monitor and turn it into a vertical cab?

This is one of my favorite cabs, and I'd like to get all the measurements down and recreate it at some point. It's so easy to switch between orientations, and if you need a new control panel you only need to copy the top section and set it up however you want. I recently made a six button fighter CPO for a Pandoras box just for fun and it worked out great.

Enjoy!
