Here is my first layout with Sketch up.
I have 23 machines in my shop (24'x30').

What do you think of this layout?
There is the furnace in the back corner. Also my repair area in the front
with the shelves and table!

How can I improve it? I could share the sketch-up file, but it's over 30mb

Thanks,

That looks like a really nice layout. I can imagine when you walk in it looks very roomy with that open space right there, and yet you managed to fit all those games in there without it looking crowded...

I'd take the big fat brown game and put it against the wall and move the frogger to the middle. Putting the "skinnier" games in the center will give more space in the middle....

furnace...

Furnace means a lot of changing temperatures and probably dust. I'd move the shelves & work desk to either side of the furnace to keep games away from it. Also guessing you can put the shelves the long way into the room thus giving you space for 1 more game. :0)

Yeah, that my monster MAME machine, it's pretty big.
Thank you for the suggestion. I will definately move Frogger to the middle!

I'd switch placement of Outrun and the Mini robotron. That way outrun and Hang-on (two very unique looking and colorful cabs) share opposing corners of the island.

THANKS Gozer and thanks for ALL of the awesome 3D objects for this program!
I think 95% of my objects are from you!

Also here's a little video walk thru. (I was bored)
