I'm thinking this isn't a scam since they quickly refunded my money, but am I missing something here?
A website clearly advertised a product for $x.xx price, and added $x.xx S&H to it.
So I add it to my cart, purchase it (via paypal). And wait for it to arrive.... Right?
Nope. Not even 1/2 hour later, I was refunded all my money... Ugh. Screenshots follow:
Original search didn't list their new "higher" priced listing: [ http://216treasures.com/search?q=bvm ]
Original older listing of item (i added to my cart and purchased): [ http://216treasures.com/products/sony-hr-trinitron-monitor-bvm-8021-8-inch-screen ]
New post with modified listing of the same item (with cover now): [ http://216treasures.com/products/sony-hr-trinitron-monitor-bvm-8021-8-inch-screen-1 ]
It's the same one they have listed on their eBay ad ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/152404613049?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT ):
Their message to me explaining why my purchase was refunded:
The purchase... and refund:
Does the sticker/price tag law only apply for brick & mortar stores?
Can online business get away with this shit?!
