20EZ starts arcing after 30 minutes or so and other odd issues

I have a freshly capped 20EZ (actually, I think it's that other Sanyo monitor, it has the degauss button and appears to be from a Dualsystem. It has a "right monitor" sticker on the back.)

Anyways... I made a Vs. Unisystem and threw this monitor in the cab. The monitor looks good after I capped it but now I am seeing that after about 30 minutes of being on it loses horizontal sync occasionally and I can hear the flyback arcing in the back when it does. What's odd is that it takes about 30 minutes for this to happen. Could it be something other than the flyback has a crack? Or is it just heating up then the crack appears? Anything else that could cause the arc sound?

And, while playing the game, the brightness seems to occasionally get brighter than dimmer occasionally.

This flyback is toast, isn't it? Any ideas? I guess I can't get a new flyback for this monitor since it's not a 20EZ and it's the one with the degauss button?

EDIT -- Just checked and it is a MODEL 20 EZ V but it has the degauss button (odd?). So, I guess I am good to go with a new flyback. I guess I'll order one this week unless anyone can come up with something.

What did you check to see if it is the 20EZV and not the 20Z2AW?

Turn it on and watch the back of the monitor to see if it is the flyback arcing. You can always try some putting some silicone on it to prevent it from arcing.

There is a sticker on the back that says "MODEL 20 EZ V".
