The 20EZ was just recapped. B+ is reading 109.4v. Any adjustment to VR301 & VR351 have no change to picture. The video signal is going straight to the monitor chassis and not using the inverter baord. I have tried the inverter board and no change. If i adjust the flyback the picture lightens and darkens but still crappy picture. Using a known good pcb in the cab. Any ideas????

center you brightness and sub contrast pots.

adjust your screen nob till the raster lines go away.
then adjust your sub brightness pot.
then adjust your brightness pot to the desired level.

that is on your flyback and is what adjusts the master brightness and removes the scan lines you see in your pic.

when I adjust the screen nob it goes light/ dark. The sub brightness and brightness pots have no effect on the screen

Went back to the start and rechecked my work. Found when I reflowed the solder on the input pins I had shorted two of them together ever so slightly, corrected that. picture looks decent now but still have no control over brightness. I can turn both the sub and remote brightness pots to no avail. All caps are in the correct polarity. picture is not bad but if I turn down the screen to remove raster lines then it is too dark. Any ideas??? If the tube is going bad how to I know? How do you rejuvinate it?

It now acts as if it can't make white! I deguassed it and it is a little better and more consistant across the screen.
