2017 Best Pin Acquisitions

regarding Atari Pipeline pinball: No known complete Pipeline exists. I know of one playfield that apparently rotted away years ago. Recreating one would be a big project.

Cleaned up indy, full rubber set. And a light wax. Playfirld GI is led comet natural white, except trough by flippers, I tossed some new 44's in there... It just made it pop better.

How did I do for buying a "non-functional, would not coin up" pin

Score

I got a call from a friend. Said her friend finalized her divorce and was selling her husbands crap and there were a couple of unknown pins involved and would I come look at them.

I ask how much is she looking for and she says 1,500.00 . I figure what the hell and I go all the way to the Jersey shore to have a look.

Anyway, I walk in and see Bride of Pinbot, Cyclone, and Black Knight 2000, all working and in great condition.

Needless to say, I called the friend who hooked me up and she had her brother come with his truck and I got the right out of there the same day.

I call that a score...

Nice! And you're close enough to let me play them. ;)

Have a Dirty Harry on its way from Florida. Finally found one. Looking forward to playing it.

I now all of a sudden want a DE Jurassic Park too. Saw a video of it and like what I saw. Seems to be a nice pin for the price.

I think that's the beauty of game collecting. You can change around whenever you want. I used to be heavy arcade, and had 3-4 pins and also had air hockey and fooseball

Then switched heavier pins, now I find myself searching to add more arcade back in. Sold off several pins and bought a couple more drivers, and a few more uprights.

I think changing the arcade is more fun for my family and visitors as well!

Harry arrived last night. Unwrapped him this morning. Still need to re-attach gun (was taken off for shipping) and move into basement, but he made the trek from Florida ok. Pardon my daughter's Barbie mess in the background.

Congrats!!! one of the underrated B/W for sure. Barbie mess if kind of fitting, little toys and big toys in harmony :)

Thanks. Yeah I really like Dirty Harry and I'm glad it's underrated as it is; makes for a cheaper price. :)

In the corner off to the right in that picture is a pile of plastic pieces. My wife's Barbie Dreamhouse from the 80's is sitting there; I'll be putting it together this weekend for my daughter. Then we'll both have big toys. :)
