2017 Best Pin Acquisitions

2017 saw Bram Stoker Dracula and Robocop added. Funhouse and Fathom left.

2018 looking good as I have a Creature and a Junk Yard coming. And hopefully a White Water and Dirt Harry.

Badass

I have a new lead on a black knight im following from like 2 hrs ago. Non working no glass, and playfield needs touchup... Killer price tho

Would love a scared stiff or dr who.

Im restoring a pinbot playfield... I repainted with acrylic... But am consideering sanding back down and airbrushing it as its not as flat as I want. Then I will clear i t myself with automotive clear.

SS is top-five for me. Unfortunately, price on those has gone completely nuts. If I could get that and a nice Centaur, that would pretty much be it for the pin collection.

Robocop!!!! Big time on my want list!!!

I didn't get much this year because of the insane prices. I can't afford the latest greatest Stern or JJP stuff, so I go somewhat old school.

Hence my only pin purchase of 2017. I present to you, Data East's Phantom of the Opera!

I got a decent deal on a Stern KISS this year. It's really a fun pin. My wife bought me the topper for my birthday this past week.

Picked up a non working dirty Flash off Facebook for 400 bucks and cleaned it up and got it working great again. Also traded a Silver Strike Bowling for a High Speed that was "not working" which turned out to be the previous owner not knowing how to coin the game up or set it to free play.

I added the "Alien Space" Atari pinball to my collection. Had it out for the tricker treaters to play on Halloween. Looking forward to the next Atari pinball reunion at CAX.

I don't much care for the gameplay of Atari pinballs, but man, their art was just the best.

Yes it is. It spent most of the last 40 years packed away in an enclosed trailer in the backyard of a former Atari employee. We brought it back to life two years ago.

Dale that is sweet!

Can't recall if I asked you this or not... do you have the Atari Pipeline prototype?

Edit: I would like to see pics of that playfield

I added 2 pins in 2017.

A REALLY nice Addams Family:

And a NIB Stern Star Wars Premium:

2018 is probably going to be a pretty quiet year for me when it comes to adding games (if anything, I may scale back a bit). If I pick up anything, it'd have to be a smoking deal. I could also see myself going after Elvira 3 if Stern winds up doing it this year.

Dam that's wild. Is that a prototype?
Yes, that is a prototype. Most Atari pinballs had that generic glass installed before the backglass artwork was designed. That is a rare glass. I use to own one years ago.
