I posted on craigslist I was looking for a Track and Field,so I got email from a guy saying he has an 88 games with a dead monitor and he's been holding on to it for a while because he knows its rare and asks me to make an offer, since I already have one I offer him $100.I got a reply back saying he knows it's worth $400-500 and with the 2012 games around the corner.

Amen, brah. Any classic Madden is hot shit and will go sky-high in value at the Super Bowl!

To the OP - I saw that same cab in very very nice condition at the Chicago coin-op show for like $250 or $350. he's trying to price-gouge. I'd call the prick out on it.

It's a tough one. I think guys see things "listed" on ebay for very high prices, and think all games have that value.

And sometimes, they did pay $900 for the game. Had it for 5 years and now it's truly worth $100, like that game probably is with a broken monitor.

I am of the belief if you play that bitch for 5 years. You just saved $1000 in quarters.
with that being said, I would try to get premium price for my games too, unless I was selling to a klover.
