2011 - June - Last Call - Possible Part Outs and/or Dumped Cabinets.

2011 - June - Last Call - Possible Part Outs and/or Dumped Cabinets.

Getting ready to smash an original dedicated cabinet you don't have space for? Why not offer it up for free if you can't sell it? It might be a tad more hassle then burning or dumping, but it could be of use to another collector and might actually be restored.

Thinking of parting out a machine worth more dead than alive? Please let us know that, and ask a price in between. Parting out a game is work, and it is nice to help some one else save a game if they can.

* Don't post the for sale thread here. Create a thread if you haven't already and link to it from here.

* Most importantly, after posting in this thread, please give potential saviors one at least 2 weeks (if not longer) to propose an adoption before continuing with the part out.

* Edit your message in this thread and add a comment if the game is no longer available.

* Participation in this thread is voluntary, but highly encouraged.

* Even if a machine isn't working or complete, please offer it up before parting it out.

* If you see another thread about a threatened part-out, and it isn't linked here, you can post it here even if you aren't the original poster of the other thread.

* Posts should be limited to directly to the topic at hand. I'm not looking for any political statements, arcade terrorism, or civil liberty speeches. If you can't play nice in this thread, don't post in it.

EDIT: OK OK, calm down everyone....it's been sold. Now please stop contacting me about this. I know it was a great deal but these phone calls at 3am need to stop!

3 cabs in NC* Radar Zone, Street Fighter Final Lap 3 cab

Final Lap 3
$50 or it gets broken and sliced up.

the bad:
Missing the backdoor, monitor and plexi.

the good:
has marquee, steering wheel, pedals and wiring.

street fighter 2 cab($25) that is almost empty, has Street Fighter 2 marquee, CP, joysticks and buttons(no switches). will throw in the Street Fighter 2 Alpha marquee if i can find it free.

I have a Tuni(i think that's right) 19" vertical monitor game working, and has three games that can be switched out. Radar zone, a logging game and another one. not sure what it is. $150 or it gets gutted and I sell the parts on ebay.(No longer availale)...

Need space in my garage. can't even fart and get away from it in there.
just south of Greensboro, NC.

Operation Wolf -- Cheyenne, WY -- Pickup Only

When I got this the game would not come on. After some light troubleshooting, I found the power supply to be defective. I swapped it out with a known good power supply and the game came on. My good power supply will not be included (my only spare atm). Monitor has burn in. Also, the monitor will not focus (hard to read text and graphics are blurry), possible bad flyback. Cabinet has a lot of water damage. Game coins up and you can start the first stage. No sound. No gun recoil. Marquee does not light up. When you pull the trigger the screen flashes indicating a shot has been fired and ammo is depleted. Hits will not register though, I believe this is because of the monitor focus issue, I may be wrong though. No back door and missing the "anti-glare" glass that goes between the monitor and mirror. Too short on both space and time for this right now. Thought I would offer this up for free before I part out what I am able to (which isn't much) and/or trash it. Not expecting to see any interest in this, but I can send pics on request.

Sarge cabinet

Sarge cabinet. Its rough. totally stripped. But free. Could be good for a pattern. Maybe someone could make it into a chair :)
