2011 - August - Last Call - Possible Part Outs and/or Dumped Cabinets.

Getting ready to smash an original dedicated cabinet you don't have space for? Why not offer it up for free if you can't sell it? It might be a tad more hassle then burning or dumping, but it could be of use to another collector and might actually be restored.

Thinking of parting out a machine worth more dead than alive? Please let us know that, and ask a price in between. Parting out a game is work, and it is nice to help some one else save a game if they can.

* Don't post the for sale thread here. Create a thread if you haven't already and link to it from here.

* Most importantly, after posting in this thread, please give potential saviors one at least 2 weeks (if not longer) to propose an adoption before continuing with the part out.

* Edit your message in this thread and add a comment if the game is no longer available.

* Participation in this thread is voluntary, but highly encouraged.

* Even if a machine isn't working or complete, please offer it up before parting it out.

* If you see another thread about a threatened part-out, and it isn't linked here, you can post it here even if you aren't the original poster of the other thread.

* Posts should be limited to directly to the topic at hand. I'm not looking for any political statements, arcade terrorism, or civil liberty speeches. If you can't play nice in this thread, don't post in it.

Sega Turbo cockpit

I have a Turbo cockpit in Jacksonville that is going to be going to the curb on Wednsday. It needs a monitor and power supply. The game is otherwise complete. I had it working at one time but with graphic issues. Somebody please come save this cab. I am movingand can't take it with me. Pm for address if interested.

Dedicated Slam Masters 2000 cabinet. It is actually 2 Capcom Big Blue's attached together (they also come apart for moving). This is and 2 Dynamo pedestal cabinets are going to get bulldozed in the next few days.

Track & Field cabinet

OK, I've got a Track & Field cab here that got Jamma-ized, and turned into a Nastar Warrior, then the op must have realized that the game sucked and no one was playing it, so he turned THAT into a Magic Sword.

I picked up the thing to get the working Magic Sword board for my dedicated game, and now I'm trying to decide what to do with the Track & Field cab left over. Part it out, or worse... turn it back into Nastar Warrior! The horror!

Don't tempt me people -- I'll do it! I will turn this sucker back into one of the worst 'hack & slash' games ever made -- Nastar Warrior -- just because I like the music and creepy voice-overs. I already have a marquee and new CPO on the way. But seriously, I'm just planning on using this as a Jamma rig, but I'll happily swap it for a generic Dynamo or Data East cab for someone has one and wants this for trade.

OK, so if there are T&F fans out there who want a project cab, this is the one. It is in Indianapolis. Like I said, I'd prefer a swap, but if you don't have a spare cab give me a holler anyway, maybe we'll work something out.

Here is the thread with more details:

Chase H.Q. (50 bucks), Z-Back (Free) and Galaga (free) cabinets. Chase H.Q's fate is definitely sealed to being parted out/trashed if no one steps up. Hate to do it and hoping someone comes for it, but I need this one off my back.

In the Bay Area. Pick up only.
