First off just let me say if I didn't have help like I did tonight, I wouldn't throw this party. This was the 2nd annual Halloween Party and I really honestly don't know if there will be a third. I didn't realize how much work goes into preparing for this. If I don't have the help next year, then no party. So.. onto the party. Tonight, between myself, my wife, my sister and my niece we all handed out candy (mostly my sister and my niece). My mom and aunt showed up and my mom directed the kids up the drive way and into the game room. My aunt was a big help too because we ran out of candy! I swear I thought we were going to have enough this year.. but nope we ran out!!! My aunt made a candy run for us and between her, my step dad and my wife.. they were bagging up candy as kids were coming into the game room. Again like last year, started out slow.. but as the night fell we got bombarded. My aunt and mom each kept count.. and we had a total of 95 kids in and out of the game room. That doesn't include parents!!! We all got hardly any sleep yesterday.. we were up til 4 am Saturday morning doing our parts. We're all tired.. but I am gonna be up all night taking down the decorations (another long night for me). :004_ssmile: Again I do this for kid's.. and adults are more than welcome to play the games. All games were played tonight. Even had some adults playing Popeye. There were a lot of babies tonight.. some of them were adorable! You'll see from the pic's. I love doing this, and I look forward to it every year. On to the pic's:

Finally, the best part of the whole night, besides having my family enjoying themselves, was that people remembered the party from last year. The very first group of trick or treaters tonight, the adult lady told me that they (as in the kids) were hoping we did this again this year. I was told 3 times by different groups that they remembered the party from last year. That's all I need to hear. If people enjoy it and I have the help, I will continue to do this. :)

Brother, you ain't kidding about how much work goes into it. I have been doing it for 6 years now and we will keep on doing it as long as we can. We really enjoy all of the smiles from the kids and adults. We don't do a lot of gore, or scare the small children. There are always plenty of people taking pics. It is amazing how many people want a pic with the Werewolf, it is almost like getting a pic with Santa for some of the adults.

wow man. That's alot of work setting up all that stuff. Not to mention thats alot of work to make sure stick candy hands don't muck up the control panels :). Nice Spy Hunter Pin!

Enjoyed the Whoopie Cushion costume. That's a new one.

That's a friend of my wife. The whole group pulled up in a car and got out. I was like  .. then my wife realized who they were. The whoopie cushion lady was the driver! LOL Too Funny~
