I'm nowhere near Nebraska but if someone else is in the area, maybe they can provide a report.

Most of it is junk. Guy named Gary is selling the games for the owner. He was a older guy in a wheel chair.

No power to the building so you needed a flashlight on the first floor. It has been picked over long before he posted the ad. I went there for a Joust and sure enough there were two on the second floor, but the owner did not want to sell them. Said they had been modified to run a second game that he had developed(illegal gambling game). Guess the owner got in trouble long ago....

Anyways, Lots of water damage. Think there was 8 pins total. 6 of them were in a room where the roof has caved in from water. They are completely destroyed. Two Big Gun's pinballs survived in the next room.

As for arcade machines, most games are on the second floor. Most missing parts. There is about 10 semi trailers surrounding the property. All full of games. Again, most missing parts. Two trailers were never opened(no keys). A lot of converted games and poker games. Was an EDOT but was missing a lot of artwork and had a lot of bad wood. Couple Sinistar sitdowns, After Burner Cockpit, Ms. Pac Cabaret(was told not for sale), Centipede Cabaret, Pole Position Sitdown and uprights, Converted DK's, Dig Dug, Out Run's, Exidy Shooters to name a few.

Another room on the second floor full of parts....monitors, game boards, marquees, bezels, etc....

I went there the day the ad was posted. Two other locals showed up. We all left empty handed. Went back the Sunday after. Quite a few more people turned up. I ended up grabbing a Hyper Sports with two extra boardsets. Went back the next day and grabbed a mostly empty Punch-Out cabinet and found two Sanyo 20EZ's that were laying around.

As far as i know, klov member Jimk got a few things with his brother. Other than that, i saw one other guy who left with two games. Another member here mentioned he had been there years ago. Said it was the same thing back then. Maybe he or any others that have been there will chime in.

here is another ad he has listed.....

picture makes it look a lot better than it is.

If your looking for a good deal on games, then this really isnt the place. He was asking way to much for what it really was. Sure some deals can be had but most isnt worth it.

Thanks for the Info on this deal, I live a couple of hours away and he said he would make me some deals....I'm not sure it would be worth the trip.

I saw it in person and grabbed a few machines for parts. Omega Race upright and cabaret, both with typical acid damage. There are about 6 Spyhunters and Pole Positions in there, big surprise. I picked up one of the Sinistar cockpits for $200. Complete, but will need a wiring harness and some work on the boards. Got a Dig Dug cab with working soundboard, nice glass and side art. Just the three things I needed for the Dig Dug I had.

Mostly lots of machines converted into poker games and other junk. Two Jousts upstairs that were not for sale. There were about 5 pinball playfields around. 4 were pretty stripped but I found a Firepower playfield in a shipping box that was nearly complete. Plenty of jukeboxes and records. Sadly, about 5 pinball machines were in a lower back room where the ceiling had partially collapsed and there was extensive water damage. One was a Spiderman, but i couldn't see a single part that could be saved.

I was in that house 8 years ago and everything is exactly in the same place I remember it. The guy wouldn't sell a thing back then and it was very mysterious. Everyone figured it was a front for meth dealers, but I think it was just another case of someone thinking they had a treasure stashed away when it really was just losing value fast because of the age and water damage.

Thank you guys for chiming in on what is really there and it's real condition. I live in North Platte NE, so it would be about a little over 6.5 hour(round trip) drive for me, which isn't a big deal, but if there isn't any decent cabs to be had, it's not worth it.

I once drove to Grand Island NE on the promise that there was a working Virtua Racing(DUAL). He said it was in excellent working condition. Took the day off, secured a truck and I Arrived to a warehouse full of pool tables, juke boxes and MEGA stripped out cabinets. And the supposedly "Excellent condition working" VR was missing the seat, 2 of the PCB boards and one of the Med Res monitors. Needless to say, I was not happy.

However I ended up taking home an Asteroids cocktail(sans PCB but the vector worked so that was a big plus) and a Taito Space Invaders Cocktail(power board just needed new caps). Both needed work, but he only charged $25 a piece as non-working. However, I was still ticked off about that VR. I really want that game. But I don't want to drive across the country to get one.

And he wanted gold(like upwards of $650+) for the Jukeboxes and even more for the pool tables, he probably had like 40 of them in this warehouse all dusty and staked up. And these were the old 45's jukes and just dirty and dusty as hell, needed a lot of love. I took pictures of this warehouse, I'll have to see if I can find them if anyone cares that is...

Anyways, thanks for the heads up.

*UPDATE:* In fact looking at this guys phone number this is the same guy(I dealt with) that told me he had the supposedly working VR. That alone is about enough to keep me from making the trip down there. And yes, his prices on working cabs are high for what you are getting. If he says it works, I'd double check. Nice enough guy, but he's not entirely accurate in his descriptions on CL, emails or on the phone. Or in my case, saying it worked and was complete, when it really wasn't.

I'll never understand these old school operators....

They keep all these PCBs and machines in warehouses all beat up and destroyed and think that by waiting 10 years the prices will go UP? If anything they are dropping through the floor these days.

I go by a few things, auction price shopped, auction price unshopped and figure in my costs of labor and parts that would be needed for fixing everything up.

Anyone that wants good money for "blind" machines has lost their minds.

I picked up 12 machines from what was left of a barn and storage place in KY and the guy wanted mad money for the stuff a few years back until he finally realized he wasn't getting it.

It's like you have to get this through people's heads and people are so hard headed nowadays about it. It's not like everyone is picking these machines up and turning around and reselling them for thousands of dollars or something.

It's always going to end the same way, old person has all these machines he will not sell but wife or kids want it gone or someone is not healthy enough to deal with the stuff anymore, so out it is going cheap cheap because they never bothered to keep the stuff nice or sell it when people offered decent money to begin with.

Sinistar cockpit parts.... if only.....:)

Was there yesterday to pick up some parts. couple sanyo chassis, power supplies, etc....

Apparently, some guy from Oklahoma payed $8,000 and filled two Penske trucks full. Do i believe the 8K figure? NO. But they did fill two trucks full it looks like.

Still a lot of cabinets left but almost all are missing boards. The parts room on the second floor was stripped of all boards that were worth anything.

I don't think anyone took any pictures.

Maybe the guy who bought a whole bunch took pictures. I noticed some familiar parts from the building were being listed today on eBay. He linked to KLOV so im sure he is a member here. If he is, maybe he will post....

Yea, it was picked over about 3+ years ago. Whomever did the picking paid a high price as this guy really valued his stuff than. The owner (Tiny) has a terminal medical condition and a lack of money which is why the stuff is for sale now.

I did pick-up three converted classic Midway cabs, a Punch-Out board set, 2 GO7 flys and a large box of assorted light bulbs. I paid $100 total for it all which I couldn't complain about. The cabinets were a solid Tron (no swelling, semi gutted), a Ms. Pac (semi gutted) and a Pac Man converted into a Circus Charlie (game sounds, no picture).

There were a few good deals to be found and I tried like a few others to get back in there. Now, after the pillaging of Friday there is not much left.

I too was there, saw grbageman and jimk there too. I did get some photos with my phone. I bought 3 exidy shooters from him, only to have him no show me and sell them to another buyer. I ended up with a solid rockola cabinet with monitor, two converted atari football cocktails, one working great, the other no boardset with a stand, a couple boxes of parts and I paid $60. I will pull the photos later and post, mostly garbage, but some good stuff I guess. The guy wanted $100 for a non working, mostly complete WarpWarp, not sure why but he was glued to it. My garage still smells from the cabinets getting their first breath of fresh air in 15 years......

I sure thought this sounded familiar, and after seeing the reference to "Tiny", that confirmed it. This was one of the first game road trips I ever did, well over 10 years ago. The place was a wreck then and prices were even higher. A buddy and I both took the day off, drove all night, slept 3 hours until the Tiny finally showed up and then we climbed around trailors and the broken down building to continually hear his high prices. My buddy picked up a couple Ms. Pac mini's and I got some misc. parts. The main thing I remember was finding a Mystic Marathon in one of the trailers, which I could have got at a decent price, but passed because I knew nothing of the game at that time. Even though I hate the game, I wish I'd have gotten it because I could have flipped it for a few bucks.

I spoke with this guy months ago also except he was advertising a Grand Island location not Lincoln. Was there any cabs decent enough to 48-n-1 them?

It was 48-n-1 heaven. At least from the respect that there were a lot of conversions already, so it wouldn't be like you were killing a dedicated machine. The cabinets themselves, many were trashed, but many were fine for a multi. YMMV, as this is over 10 year old information in my case, going by my old, increasingly failing memory.

Grand Island Location is still there. Gary asked if i was interested in anything and i said no. it was all converted stuff when i was there months ago.

About the Lincoln location, really sucks to see the games in those shitty condition. Sure a lot of it was junk when we were there but good deals could still be had. There was a lot to work with on most games but now they are pretty much worthless now. Unless you got the coin to turn a basically empty cab back into a full game.

Those guys that came through and bought a whole bunch really took the last chance that those games had at a second life. Marquees, control panels, boards....all stripped. Only to be listed on ebay....

http://shop.ebay.com/periwinkleblue/m.html

guess that is the way it goes though...would hate to be in gary's shoes right now with all these emtpy cabinets. maybe he should have offered them cheaper in the beginning. they even stripped the boards outta the two Jousts upstairs that apparently were not for sale.

i imagine a good majority of whats left will be taken to the dump.
