Someone gave me a Popeye and a cocktail Stratovox. They both need a lot of love. I am starting with the Popeye and just did a cap kit on the 20 EZ. got ready to test it and have a couple of unconnected wires. Keep in mind that I'm a newbie to this arcade restoration world so my terminology is layman at best. It's thin red wire, and a connector with a red and white wire. I have pictures of both and where they originate from. Thanks to everyone already. I have gained a wealth of knowledge just from reading the forum.

The single red wire with the three pin connector in the power line that plugs into the inverter board mounted on top the flyback cage. (if you have one)

The red and white plug is your Audio Out, so there should be another harness hanging around somewhere going to the speakers that that will plug into.

You'll need to fix that broken pink wire on the audio amp board too. ;)

not seeing inverter board

I'm not seeing an inverter board. Is there a chance it doesn't have one. Should it have one. Will the monitor power up without it? Thanks again.

the power wire for the inverter board can hang free with no issues

either tape it out of the way or zip tie it out of the way and you are good to go on that wire.

part identification

What is the name for the part that the red and white audio out wires originate from? Also, can anyone recommend a beginners guide to arcade game restoration. A "For Dummies" book if you will. Thanks.
