What are you waiting for?!?!! Unpack those beasts, set them up, play a few games and get more pics!!! :)

Leaving for the Bears game in a few minutes. Those were expensive machines too. I tried to trade my wife's ticket for Bears game for the pins and she said no way! :p

nice machines, do you think you'll feel like playing after the packers win? :D

Nice pick up!
Although you do have some priority issues...
Bears>two pins?!?!?
Maybe if it were our beloved Lions I might have gone to the game instead of staying home to play! (Seriously, I know the Lions SUCK )
DA BEARS!

Can someone please explain to me the problem with the Shadow's backglass?

I'm always hearing about how horrible the backglass is, and I'm just not seeing the problem.

The likeness of Alec Baldwin is pretty darn good and he's a fairly handsome chap. I mean, it's not like Clint Howard is on there or anything.

It's a political thing for most people. ....but, objectively, it would look better as the iconic image of the The Shadow - scarf covering the ugly face...like on the playfield. I dunno, doesn't bug me....lots of 90's games have paintings of the actors/characters on the backglass.

I put a red LED flasher in the socket behind his ring on the backglass! Looks cool! :)

Pretty much this. It definitely isn't ugly and doesn't deserve a lot of the flack it gets, but it could have been better with the iconic The Shadow illustration, as mentioned. If you can live with Arnold, Reeves and Harrison on a backglass, you'll survive looking at Alec.

I'm a big fan of High Speed and the Getaway is a great sequel to it. Love how Ritchie fucks with you by forcing you to shift mid-game for a multiplier. :)

Hahah, yeah, not like he has anything else to do now. LOL

Well the Bears lost.

On the positive side, the money I am saving by not going to Dallas, I can now use for more games. :D

On a side note, does anyone need airline tickets from Chicago to Dallas?

Plain and simple - putting actors on timeless themes is BAD except in the few rare cases where the actor defines and the theme are perfect together (i.e Mark hamil as Skywalker, etc). Baldwin and Shadow were not memorable.

Addams Family / Raul Julia and co were passable.

LOTR - Stern putting those actors on the playfield bothers me.
