Purchased one. Tried to move a 300-400lb Rowe jukebox, didn't even get it moved 6 inches with 2 people. Regardless of position and 2 people doing it, it did NOT TAKE OFF or balance the weight. 0%
Worst product ever sold.
QUIT. BEING. A. CHEAP-ASS. AND BUY A FUCKING $100-200 MOVERS DOLLY.
that is the moral of this story.
100% this ^^^ I have both the shoulder dolly straps and the forearm forklift (as well as a couple hand trucks), and find the shoulder dolly MUCH better for moving games. Your legs do all the work (which are much stronger than your arms), and your arms are free to balance the object being moved. Just moved a 6-player Xmen a couple weeks ago (out of a walkout basement with a singe 32" doorway, and across a 30 deg. grassy incline), and it probably couldn't have been moved by any other means.I have a pair of the forearm forklifts and also the shoulder dolly straps. I've found the shoulder dolly straps work much better, especially for stairs. You carry all the weight on your torso and legs vs. on your arms. Just my wife and I carried a huge ass armoire upstairs to our bedroom, which was far more bulky than an arcade machine. Never could have done it with the forearm style straps.
As have I. We got relo'd in 2016, so we got to see them do the whole thing (load and unload).I don't think it's a matter of being cheap. I've seen professional movers use similar straps. The appliance delivery guys use these all the time.
Oy!
