Last night I sealed the deal on a HUO WPC94 and a diamond plated Whirlwind. Both 100% working. The WPC is in pristine shape and the Whirlwind is pretty dirty. Needs to be shopped out, sling shot plastics replaced and a few playfield decals replaced. Purchase price for both machines is $2300. Looking at shipping now ... Forwardair for one machine is $200 plus my friend will need to go to the house where these are at, tear them down, load them up, package them up and then deliver to the terminal. There's no way I'm going to ask my friend to go through all that work so I can save ~$200.00. So bottom line I'll be into both machines for ~$2750 after shipping via NAVL (hopefully less). While shipping makes the decent deal less of a deal, I don't feel $1375 a machine isn't too terrible either.

I'm amazed how dried up the pin scene is here in Oregon. Anyone else having a heck of a time locating pins lately? Pretty sad when a person has to buy machines 4 states away.

Good games...It might be a good idea to have your friend take a look at these games anyway though. Make sure that these machines are what they are advertised as. Does the seller have any proof that the WCS94 is HUO? If they are in good shape, it seems like a decent deal. Shame you have to tack on the shipping, as that can be pricey. The pinball market is a tough one...lots of deals pop up here and there in my area, but they are on turd games.

Also what playfield decals were replaced on the Whirlwind?? Other than the spinners, showing typical wear, what decals were replaced? On a diamond plated playfield, this is a bit unusual.

Exactly - the spinner decals are hosed. A few drop targets as well.

Proof of HUO - none really. The seller claims he bought it from a gentleman - the original owner (new out of box). Even if it's not a HUO (over rated in my book) doesn't matter really. The machine is in superb shape. No marring, scratches, lock bar holes, no fading.

Indeed the shipping drags the deal down. Just got setup at NAVL. $409.20.
So that brings the grand total to $1354.60 per machine.

The pin market here in Louisiana blows also! I usually have to travel to North Georgia, NC, or SC for a pin that I really want.

If you find a decent EM rifle game (looking for Haunted House and Gangbusters) in your area then let me know, I can hook you up with a nice pinball machine in exchange for one or both of them.

I've got two newer pins and they don't do anything for me, so I'm looking for a trade.

WPC94? World Pingpong Champion? Wild Penthouse's Caligula? West Philly Cheesesteak? Is that a pin or a pinball system board?

When I saw this title, I was hoping you bought that Aadams Family and TZ from TNT :D

Congrats on your score, I know DJ seems to be selling off everything, are all his prices too high?

I have this to say about DJ. His machines are shopped out and indeed play like new. The cabinets themselves look brand new. That part right there is a deal killer for me simply because he admitted to having someone locally ink jetting the artwork for him and he usually charges well over average prices. And he's cement when it comes to his prices.
I called about his WH20 (before he listed it) and he said, "It's 2800". Said nothing about the condition or what was done to it. $2800 for a WH20? Jeebus Cripes is that the gold edition? lol. What ever he can sit on his pins.

Dude I wish it was the TNT stuff. Too rich for my blood unfortunately. My wife and I have been looking for a TAF couple months now. Nothing. Now that I bought these two machines I'm sure the WCS94 will be a keeper. The WW .... if we don't care for it I will sell it off and keep looking for a TAF. Come tax season next year I'll be getting me a TAF for sure.

WH20 was exactly the one I was thinking about. I knew the asking prices on the rest of his good machines would be well beyond my budget. Thanks for the price, now I can rest assured that I don't want that one either. If it was 1K less, I would have to think about it. At that price, he can keep it.

I wish I could afford the TNT stuff as well. Not in this lifetime, I am afraid.

I have to say I'd rather have (let's pull a number out of the air) 3 pins instead of having 1 fairly expensive one. For a WH20 I'd pay $1800-$2K IMHo (notice small "o" because my opinion doesn;t mean squat.)
And FWIW don't feel bad. My money tree didn;t come up this year and I'm dialing 1800brokeass all the time. ;)

The seller confirmed the wire transfer hit and NAVL is picking up tomorrow. Wonder how many days it'll take before the load gets here? AZ to PDX
